    Trespass Genesis Tribute band

I am the lead singer of a Genesis Tribute Band called Trespass located in the Philadelphia Pensylvania USA area. We do a show that is not quite as precise as the Musical Box does but I would venture to say is a little closer to the real thing than most of the other tribute bands i have seen clips of. We have a show coming up this Friday March 23rd at the Colonial Theatre in Phoenixville Pennsylvania if anyone is in the area i invite you to come to the show, we recently added a rather lengthy tune having to do with a certain mealtime (wink-wink) complete with crazy costumes, makeup and all that 70's glittery fun. At least check out the website and play the Genesis trivia games I made up. www.trespassmusic.com

Re: Trespass Genesis Tribute band March 23 show

My brother-in-law and I traveled from Baltimore to Phoenixville to see the March 23rd show.  We had both seen Genesis in the past and we're avid fans.  We've seen The Musical Box four times.  Lamb twice, Foxtrot and Selling England once each.

    Ok, that said.

We were totally blown away with the Trespass show.  Cinema Show, Firth of Fith and Entangled into Squonk were absolutely incredible.

One of the things that really made the show special was that we didn't know what was coming next.  The inclusion of 4 songs from A Trick of the Tail and the material from Wind and Wuthering was special.  That's something we couldn't have gotten from TMB!

All I can say is - Great job guys!  I don't care where you play, I'll be seeing you again!

For those in the Los Angeles area, check out Genesis tribute band Gabble Rachet    They do an amazing Supper's Ready.  They mix in lots of Peter Gabriel era, Steve Hacket era, and the good stuff of the trio (Tony Banks, Michael Rutheford and Phil Collins).

Re: Trespass Genesis Tribute band March 23 show

I'ver seen the Musical Box 5 times.  I seen the real deal in Buffalo NY in '74, '75 and '76.  TMB performs it exactly the way Genesis did; right down to Gabriels stories.  I wish the crowd was the same as in the 70's.  I will contiue to see them and hope that they put out a DVD of "Selling England By The Pound and Lamb Concerts.  I would like to see The Black Show since I missed it the last time that they were in town.

THEY NEED TO GET THAT DVD THING DONE BEFORE THEY STOP DOING THE SHOWS!!!
