    Any unopened boxes left?

In the past few years I've come across video gems I never knew existed, such as the actual video of Hendrix/Band of Gypsys performing "Machine Gun" New Years Eve 69 at the Fillmore East. But I've been hoping against hope that somewhere, somehow, maybe, possibly, someone filmed or videotaped Cream playing the Wheels of Fire version of Crossroads.

Is there any chance this gem might still show up, or have you gone through everything you have?

You'll see those unopened boxes most likely next year and it won't be via Wolfie's Vault.

Are you saying what I think you're saying?

Yes - what exactly are you saying? I have no idea! You imply unreleased Cream material, possibly video(?), is being released next year. Like the new Mid Valley audio boots?

Dunno if you've picked up the new(est) Cream DVD (Classic Artists series).
Comes with a CD feat.5 songs played live for broadcast on Swedish radio
1967 - wild version of N.S.U. among other tunes.

I never knew this show existed.

    More live Cream please!

Rumor had it that Oakland was recorded by Atco - true?

Which are the best sound quality?
(am guessing Sweden because it was a radio
    broadcast)

Where and when were "Disraeli Gears Live" and "East Coast '67" recorded?

Disreali Gears live contains "Marquee Club, London, 23rd May 1967" and "Barbecue '67, Spaulding England,  29th May 1967". The Marquee gig is pretty good sound quality and unique performances of songs like Dance The Night Away and World Of Pain. Barbecue '67 would have been fantastic but the left microphone failed so Jack Bruce's bass and vocals are almost non-existant.

East Coast'67 has  Brandeis University, Waltham Mass, 10th September 1967 and
Psychedelic Supermarket, Boston Mass, [10-16th] Sept. 1967. But apparantly Brandeis is actually a early '68 performance and a very good one at that. Psychedelic Supermarket is for completist only.

the detroit soundboard from 1967 definetly has the real live power of the band captured the best i think for recordings of this time period.

    Re: Any unopened boxes left?

    Hi Haight,

Although I joined way back in '06 there seemed to be so little activity on the Cream forum that I stopped looking much and when I did I only saw some pretty inconsequential stuff.

Anyway I have just seen your posting which refers to the 20 disc set which you have. I think this is probably what I once stumbled upon as a website for downloading with 'Torrent'. At the time I wasn't in a position to do anything about it and when I was I couldn't find it anymore. Can you help please?.

I mean is there another way I can find this stuff? As far as I can see any invitation on the web now to download bootlegs is an invitation to be infected with a virus. By the way I live in the UK.

By the way I was so incensed by all the  ' Cream and/or Clapton is over rated '  crap that I posted a fairly lengthy piece myself  to rebut it.

By the way the Detroit Ballroom bootleg has a very unpleasant toppy balance and needs to be played with treble well down and base well up. Do I have a bad copy or is yours the same? On one amplifier I use I have bass +4db and treble -6db.
