Van Morrision at Bottom Line 1978

Who the hell sings Crazy Love?  Best Tupelo Honey I have ever heard.

    Greetings,

If you could please tell me what date you are refering too, I would be more than happy to open a forum for the concert mentioned in your post subject line.

    Thank you!

Now that we are migrating to only having perfomer forums (you are more than welcome to create a concert-specific thread in a performer forum by the way) I have created for you a Van Morrison performer forum and moved this thread over there.

    Happy forum-ing!

Excellent choice. I have this show on vinyl and Peter Wolf is listed as master of ceremonies. May I suggest that the opening paragraph be revised as follows?

Van Morrison was enjoying a commercial renaissance with this tour and the album he was promoting at the time. Always a consummate performer, Morrison delivered a stunning performance in New York's intimate Bottom Line club, the venue that launched the careers of both Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel, among countless others. Opening with an introduction by J. Geils Band's Peter Wolf and a jazzed up version of "Moondance," the show provided a healthy mix of material from his then-new LP, Wavelength, and all the best-loved Morrison classics.

    Thank you,

    Peter H

Van says that Katie is going to sing so I presume it's Katie Kissoon. Katie Kissoon also sang back up for Roger Waters, George Harrison and others.

That is a great show.  In the 1970s and early 80s, Van Morrison was an all-time great live performer and I'd love to see more of his shows on this site.
