    Re: Zeppelin

OK, Hear me loud!! I confess i am not a regular when it comes to the forums, but when i see ZEP in the subjectline, i have to make the effort.  This is the year..................HAS to be the year.  I so so so so would love to hear any new PAST concerts wolfgang can turn us onto, but the ultimate climax will be the mighty ZEP giving us a 2008 live show.  So help me pray to the powers that be, that we all should get the fix that takes u to the outer limits..  To the souls that r where I am, keep me on ur Alist with all ZEP.

    Luv ya all,

    Val

    Nyro and America

Bud I could not agree more. Laura was one of the most patriotic americans in muse. She loved this country, and wrote about it many times....

Xmas and the Beads of Sweat....another tribute to america. She would be so so sad today.

    Hey 'Brooklyn!'

Wayne "The Harpe" Ceballos here, lead guitarist/vocalist and founder member of AUM.  Thank you for the great review!  I am currently writing my memoirs, and I would appreciate any remembrances from people like yourself, to possibly be included in my work in progress.

I would like to thank everyone that has shared their recollections of AUM here on Wolfgangs Vault.   If anyone out there has any favorite memories of our group, hanging out together, etc., for possible publication in my memoirs, please feel free to send them to: WCEBALLOS@austin.rr.com

Thanks again, everybody, for "Keepin' the Faith!"

    Cheers!

    Wayne The Harpe-

ps. I'm also working on a new CD- Stay tuned- up!

    Re: Concert Vault Feedback/Crabby Appleton

cool info on crabby appleton. but u have to wonder how a group that put out 2 lps and had a hit single did not play for bill graham.

did grease band put an lp out without cocker? i definitely remember Fanny from lp not sure if i saw them live here on east coast.

but if they are in the vault the vault keepers will get it out!! keep asking.

to grtzan:the good rats were/are still a bar band from long island. fun on stage but essentially 2(two)

great guitarists and one great songwriter in pepe marchello. u can buy their cds from their myspace page or email them from that page.

cds listened to recently: cheap trick!! only 1 30 minute set on the vault. still active today!!

DUST!! i think a new york band because drummer marc bell morphed into marky RAMONE!!

also bassist kenny aaronson went on to other well known projects i can't remember at this time due to a few/many BLUE MOONS.

MAN!! just happened to come up just after THE VAULT posted a GREAT show by them!! check out MAN!!

DAVE CLARK FIVE!! if there is something out there it would be hard to get posted because dave clark has tight/strict control over the rights. he wont even let cds stay out there long. but we can try!!

a lot of people are commenting on the individual concerts page instead of the feedback page. I THINK!!

    regards, "rpm"

    Re: Zeppelin

Thanks for being there with me GT.  Zeppelin must be in our near near future.  You have heard that Jimmy Page is going to be a part of the closing ceremonies in Bejing this coming sunday, 8/24/08.  I am hoping for an announcement soon after that.

May we all pray to the Houses of the Holy for this to happen.

    Re: Zeppelin

I would love to see more Zeppelin on this site also. Preferably something early. The earlier the better. Anything '72 or earlier would be appreciated. After that Plant's voice was shot and it made some songs almost unlistenable (except for the '77 tour).

    Hello

I'm a major Bill Graham admirer and really appreciate your site!

PLEASE post more by Procol Harum, especially 1968-69 at Fillmore East or West - and Especially Easter Weekend, Apri '69, Fillmore West.  They played a 4 day weekend and were at the absolute Top of their form at that time,  with their original lineup including Hammond organist Matthew Fisher.

Some Video from that Procol Harum lineup would be even More awesome!

Thanks again for your wonderful pages!

    Joan M.

    SANTANA AT TANGLEWOOD!!!! :D

Finally!!! Sorry I had to vent that one out. haha.  I remember a while back beggin' for this one.  There are literally no official tapes of this tour.  With the exception of three tracks selected from a lackluster performance at the Royal Albert Hall, which were extra tracks on the remastered "Abraxas" album.  However, I would like to thank you guys so much for digging this one up.  Not only that, but the audio quality is so tremendous that it could be used for official hard copy release.  It doesn't necessarily have to be hard copy but I'm sure you could make a deal with Columbia or Santana himself to release this truly incredible moment in the Woodstock lineup's career.  And that incredible moment is their peak, which has been righteously captured at this festival.  Not only this performance by Santana, but by Jethro Tull, Chicago, The Who and Miles Davis.  This is an essential listening and one of, if not the best concert in the vault.  Two reasons: one is that it captures the Santana band at their very best, two it captures the other bands at Tanglewood at their very finest.  I hope you guys find a way to release this classic performance very soon as a hard copy or as a download.    Thank you so much.
