One evening at Fillmore East Bill Graham was anouncing coming atractions someone yelled out bring back Blue Cheer Bill said Im never having them here again.When the Beach Boys said they wanted a ticket stub count Bill said    Im never having them here again.In the notorius Fillmore movie 45 Mama Cass was making Bill look bad when she told the audiance that he wouldnt let them do an encore when they didnt have enough material .I guy in my class snuck an 8 mm movie camera into a soundcheck of the jefferson Airplane i think they took his film away .Another guy in my class went backstage to meet the Who this woman kept asking him are you here to interview Roger?

 

So what are we saying that Bill banned certian people from preforming at the Fillmore East? Did he do that at the Filmore West also? Huh, I never heard this before..... Wow. Instresting stuff.

I'm one of the few that has a copy of the Fillmore movie . Mama Cass doesnt appear in this movie . I also beleive it was Bonnie Bramlett that told the audience at the Fillmore West that Bill wouldnt let them come back for an encore . He was in his office at the time and heard her on stage and went out and told them to come back . They didnt . Say what you want about Bill Graham , I was a Winterland regular and spoke with Bill many times , and he was always nice to me  . Thanx .
