In the late 1990s a local radio station had a show called "Saturday Night Live" which consisted of live recordings of particular bands, which I often taped to cassettes. 

One of the featured bands was The Who.  I absolutely loved this recording because it had a sequence from Tommy consisting of:
Amazing Journey
[maybe another song, I forget]
Pinball Wizard
See Me, Feel Me
Listening to You

This sequence, to me, is the absolute epitome of live Rock-n-Roll.

I listened to this recording hundreds of times and consequently wore-out the cassette before I could transfer to it digital form.

I'm looking for what particular concert this sequence was performed in.

I know its not the Woodstock or Live at Leeds recordings.

I presume its from an obscure import of an obscure concert.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have a listen to the concertn on WV - Philly 12/4 (the end chunk after Won't Get Fooled Again). You may well find this is part of or all of what you mention. I think you are refering to the Largo gig - 12/6

If not - I'll do some more digging for you.

*update* - I'm totally confused now, I just checked the 12/6 show on WV and that has Pinball Wizard and See Me Feel Me on it too! The notes I have from "Baba O'Riley's Bootleg Page" say the last two tracks of 12/4 Philly were infact from 12/6 Largo.

I did notice Roger changed the lyrics on Pinball Wizzard (Philly) to "I aint seen anything like him in any COMMUNION HALL" (instead of amusemtn hall). Maybe this is a clue to where they were if The Spectrum or the Capitol Center is known as a communion hall. Or maybe it's just a English to American-English conversion he did because he felt Americans wouldn't understand 'amusment hall'.

Whoa! Thanks for the effort.  You'll need to put the year on the dates, I'm just not that much of an afficianado, yet.

I need to add a few more things to help:
* "We're Not Gonna Take It" plays between Pinball and See Me, just remembered it.
* The recording was pretty rich in instruments, so presumably this is a recording from the late-70's to mid-90s.  I have the Woodstock Version of "See Me, Feel Me" and it is nowhere near as full sounding as the recording I'm after.

It could well be one of the two gigs that's on this website, 1973. Philly or Largo. Did Pete intro Pinball Wizard as "Pineball Blizzard" for a laugh? If so then it's Largo 12/6/73 if not it's Philly 12/4/73

Also, have you heard the full length My Generation on Live at Leeds, (particularly from when My Gen seems to be over) something tells me you'll like that, a lot!
