Yea, I have a copy of that show, from a bootleg called "Agora Night". But it is heavily noise reduced and processed. Supposedly from a pre-FM source, although I can't verify that. Excellent sound quality even with the processing. I've always looked for someone that made a basic tape recording of this, it seems strange that none has appeared considering it was broadcasted on so many stations.

I was at the NYE show in '80.  Amazingly WLIR had a block of tickets they put up a few days before Christmas and I managed to get a pair.  Still one of the greatest concerts I've ever seen.  Not sure if anyone has the complete concert since after the last encore they piped in the house music while everyone left.  Not wanting to sit in traffic we stuck around and sure enough, after half the crowd had left, Bruce comes out yelling "Where's everybody going?"!!!!!!!!  Played another few quick songs before finally calling it a night after over 3 hours of pure rock and roll.  I'm really glad they've got the vintage Bruce here since his shows haven't been the same since BITUSA.

You left one off the list. I attended the final concert of the Born to Run tour at the Capitol Theater in Passaic, NJ. We had 10th row center seats for the show. This was Bruce's first national tour. The 30th anniversary box set has a DVD from the tour in London, so you can get an idea of the show they put on. But understand, this was a show for the homies! Bus loads of kids up from the Jersey shore, hail the conquering heroes! They played for over 3 hours, and didn't stop! The Capitol was about 3500-4000 seats, and I swear the buiding was moving at points! ( And, no, I wasn't on mushrooms!)
It was so sweet to see them like that, the local heroes hittin' the big time!

I was at the Winterland show..  Took all my firends (finally) to see Bruce.

I had been into him since I won tickets on KRQR in 75 for one of the Roxy shows.....Went there expecting to hate it ("NEW DYLAN MY ASS!") and he danced on my table for hours.  I was convinced!!!  Saw he was playing back in my hometown (Sacramento) a couple of night later and moved back from the abyss that is LA.....

Tired to get my friend to go to the shows, but they were not into it at all....

After prove it all night (Where he is crowd surfing during the incredible guitar at the the end....!) and I just knew...The look on their faces told everything......I play this show every Christmas Eve.  For my kids and now my grandkids......"Shootin around the moon...shifting into fourth.....and there he was....."

I've got the Cleveland show on my computer.  It's got be one of the best shows I've ever heard.  "Prove it all night' is a highlight, though the whole concert is exceptional.

and the "growin' up" story from the agora is the best ever. there were so many different versions of this story from so many cities. but at the end of the agora version, when god says 'LET IT ROCK!!!" ...it still blows me away.
