I think one of the most compelling concerts, Jimi changing to a "soul" backup band featuring Buddy Miles on drums...let's hear it from the Filmore East!

A couple of those New Year's Eve Band of Gypsy's shows are available on DVD. 1970 is my favorite year for live Hendrix. His playing was at its peak, and he had an ambitious and ever changing set list. I'd love to see as much material from 1970 on this site as possible. It's a fantastic site, though!

I was lucky enough to get to see one of the shows. It is one of my favorite shows. Theres is also a cd of those shows. Peace
