I've heard Marley on Vault Radio, but I also hear that there is video of this show in the Vault.  Anyone know anything about this?

There's no way the Vault has this video.  If they did, that would be awesome. 

I know they have a couple from King Biscuit too.  Come on guys!  Give us some Marley.

I can not wait to see this Marley video in its entirety...so sad I never got to see him live. Guess all we can do now is live through the footage.

 

 

Just to clarify, audio of this Bob Marley show from the Oakland Auditorium on November 30th, 1979 was extracted from the video tape and mastered specifically for Vault Radio. The video exists, but the quality is fair to mediocre and the best part of it is the audio track.

I've seen the video in dvd format, but the quality of the picture was very bad: dark, black/white and distorted; the audio was good, but not as excellent as the version on Vault Radio here... the show itself and the things you can see on the video are absolutely fantastic...! much more power and passion than the Santa Barbara show which took place just a few days before (and which has been officially released on dvd)...!

Topper, what kind of quality has the video tape you are talking about? Is it in colour, without distortions, and with audio as excellent as the Vault Radio airings?

is the owner of this tape on the board? I'm sure the financial gain will be more than worth the effort to distribute, or maybe he/she can sell me a copy!?! Yea i'm just listening to concrete jungle from oakland now and the guitar intro blows away santa barbara's, so far there just seems to be more in this oakland tape than santa barbara, although of course santa barbara is respectable in its own right. i'll ramble about this forever unless i stop now JAH LIVE!!

Hey, new to boards.  I can't believe I passed up seeing BMW and Santana at Winterland in 75 or 76. 

Just bought the DVD of BMW at The Rainbow.  If you don't have it, get it.  I too, would love to see the above mentioned video

If it is out there, I want to see there. Listening to the show now, this is why I love reggae.
