    Re: Downloads Coming in April

i hate to be the one to inform you, buty if you read the post it says that about 50 shows

will be available for download......the current shows that are available for streaming

are just that ......for streaming, not download,......that`s how i understand it..........

    Re: Downloads Coming in April

here is one question you have not answered that i have asked many times.

will a complete inventory of concerts and videos ever be available to peruse just for fun even tho they are not available to listen/watch or download. if not why?

maybe add to the wolfgangs vault section of performers stuff to sell the concerts available and their status, ie. listen, download, not available yet!!

ok i have a few more questions.

have you completed an inventory of what you have?

will initial downloads come from the now available concerts to listen to? or completely different or a mix??

also will video ever be available to download in the future or just watch/stream?

love the site like everyone else. keep up the great work!!

    Hello Vault Radio&ej,

Yes it's true there will"only"be 50 shows offered for download @ 1st.There will also be 10!!! new shows per week.At this rate maybe the Vault Keeper's will find a Jeff Beck & or Johnny Winters show for me! I'm sure 50 shows to download @1st won't please everybody, but hang in there there will be more soon{I'm sure}.Also, would you Vault Keeper's please find something for those pesky Doors fans{I might even add 2or3 to my playlist}.

    Re: Downloads Coming in April

Your plans sound excellent - the quality and size to be initially offered; the price of $9.98 which is truly to be commended in an age of ever-increasing ticket and official live release prices; the rollout of 10 new concerts per week; the optional grouping by genre and by decade.  Bravo.  My one suggestion is that, once lossless does become a reality, there should be a way for members who have already purchased a specific concert to either be able to download the lossless version for free, or if not (because increased quality should affect price), be able to download lossless for only a few dollars more.  I imagine if each customer had a "cart" of sorts that kept track of which concerts had been purchased - both for you and for us who plan on getting a bunch of them and won't necessarily remember which ones we bought 6 months earlier - this could be arranged, to give previous purchasers a discount on lossless versions.  Still, I highly applud the changes you are instigating.  It's all about loving the music and getting to the people who also love it.  Thanks for all the work you do keeping this site going and giving us great access to these amazing artists.

    Re: Downloads Coming in April

Please don't gorget about us folks that want FLAC files.  I have zero interest in MP3's, no matter how high the bitrate.  These concerts are too good to receive them in any form but the way they were originally recorded.

    Thanks!

Love Wolfgangs Vault and visit this site often to listen to these wonderful concerts.

Appreciate your efforts to make downloads of the concerts available. However, I would also greatly prefer FLAC files, so I'll gladly pay when that time comes.

    Re: Downloads Coming in April

Count me as another that has ZERO interest in MP3 anything.  Please step up the efforts for lossless downloads.  I will gladly pay $10 for many of the shows in the vault.
