    nj to florida:

you just blew my mind with the seatrain show!! been waiting and asking and it has been worth the wait. this show is definitely during their most productive period after the first 2 capitol lps.(their second and third lps overall.)

these 2 lps  seatrain-self titled and produced by george martin!! yes that george martin!!!

and marblehead messenger are my 2 favorite lps of all time. still!!!!

this show features the strongest material of these 2 lps plus flute thing which they did on their very 1st lp before a lineup change and the 2 capitol lps.

thanks a bunch my life is complete.

will look for more seatrain shows in future. hope u got more in there. and while your at it more wishbone ash who was on the bill with seatrain this incredible night. i CAN NOT believe i did not go to this show.

    Re: What's Goin' On

Thank-you.  I hope the artists see the light, we are here to hear them in ways unavailable before wolfgang's crew opened the doors.  I've been sitting at my computer longer today than I have since I bought the damn thing and I can't ever remember having the chills this long.  It seems as though as soon as hear a couple of tunes I have to switch to something else I can't believe I just found.  How could this stuff have been locked away?  All I can say is thank-you.

    Re: What's Goin' On

    Great site!

When will we be able to download these concerts so we can put them into our iPods and listen to them away from our computers?

    Cheers!

The Concert Vault is a goldmine. I am digging deeper and deeper. And getting luckier all the time. Thanks.

    Re: What's Goin' On

I am very pleased with your site and greatly appreciate it.
Like everyone else, I want more more more.
    One word of advice.
I have been on the internet for a long time (longer than AOL) and have watched it change from a quiet little group of nerds to a mass gathering of humanity.
The one thing I have learned above all else is you can never please everyone. No matter what you build on the internet. No matter if its free or if users have to pay. No matter what you offer your community, there will always be a group of people outraged that their little pet idea didn't get incorporated into the site.
Its difficult, but a good webmaster will not allow this tiny but vocal group drive development of a site because they will inevitably destroy it if left un-checked.
Thanks for the great site and all the hard work invested.

    Re: What's Goin' On

Thanks for the info. Perhaps I should have read the above post before asking my redundant question. You folks are totally together. A couple of questions: did Seals and Crofts ever play a venue that was archivally recorded, and do you have any of their concerts on tape? Secondly, were any of the Jimi Hendrix shows featured on your site ever released commercially (as opposed to bootlegged) before? I've never heard of at least a couple of the cuts from his '68 shows on your site. The shows are truly revelatory. Brilliant work, folks.
Final question for now: do you have any previously unheard of Doors shows? Thanks again. I love this site.

    Shoot the Moon !

very smart of you finally figuring out that people wanted to hear complete shows rather than songs rotated by different artists!

The rarest of the rare might exist in the vault !

An artist that with one exception you cannot find !

    Who is it ?

Blood Sweat and Tears with AL KOOPER (not dcp).

    Please take a look.

thanxs - the way the vault is being run now is a positive step in the right direction.

I wouldnt mind paying for access - say $10 a year?

    Doesnt sound like much but adds up fast - 1,000,000 customers x 10 = $10,000,000.00 !  a year!

    More 60's !

    Re: What's Goin' On

Wolfgang, someone wrote you to say that the Filmores’ (East and West) are (were) “the holly grail of rock n roll” As such; these places were temples in which you could have a near religious experience with rock. I worshiped before the Eastern alter many times. I can only hope that you will live up to the intent I hear in your words. I think you will. Nothing wrong with the commercial end, just respect the memory of Bill Graham and his intent.

    Thanks for the site

Now, if I could only get DSL were I am, I could listen to this stuff.

    Re: What's Goin' On

Pure Bliss, Just finished listening to Pink Floyd at Filmore West. I used have this on cassette ( or one very simular to this ) in the early ninety's but the sound was really terrible almost agonizing there was more hiss than music. This version on the other hand is much better nice and clear words n all.

It is a real treat to be able to listen to it in top notch quality for a concert performed in 1970 its fantastic.

As for this site well i am totally impressed so glad i stumbled accross it.

Your certainly moving in the right direction full speed ahead and keep looking back 10 out of 10.

    Thanks Wolfgang

"now then what can i listen to next ah yes that will do nicely"
