Agreed - some pre 1978 Chicago would be great!

Yes! For a band as prolific as CTA there has to be more out there. I have not been on here long but this has got to be one of the best music sites on the web! Great job.

Any idea when the Fillmore CTA shows from 1969 will be added?

Tanglewood, 1970 too, as long as I'm asking?

    Thanks, as usual!

Yes, the video of that Tanglewood show - or any other early Chicago video - would be awesome to see.

Mucho Gracias for the Filmore 69 show!

Thank you for the CTA shows.

We CTA/Chicago fans are in heaven with Terry Kath shredding like he invented the guitar.

Outstanding write-up also - it's very complimentary while fairly conveying that the guts they showed in '69 would gradually slip as they succumbed to commercial and other pressures.

Another thanks for the new concerts! I agree there have been few that can compare to Kath, even if he never got credit for his ability.

Love these two CTA sets! Tuesdays are now looked forward to with GREAT anticipation. Never know what'll turn up.

Yes! Please keep that early vintage Chicago coming!

    Re: Chicago Transit Authority

I had a copy of that Toronto Rock n' Roll Revival 1969 on vinyl, and you're right. It's much better than Carnegie Hall. The Fillmore show is about as good except for Purples. Like the CH version, it drags like a worn out tape. I don't understand why they performed it that way. It was much sharper on Toronto.
