    Re: Concert Vault Feedback

    I am happy that the Vault is bringing the classic shows and memorabilia back for the people that appreciate it. I must say though, I will never purchase a concert in a lossy format. I have read in other posts that you were making shows available in FLAC, but I have looked and can not find them. Please let me and others like me know where they are. There are torrets out there for free. I would gladly purchase shows if they were exact shows, not MP3's. Thanks!

    Hey blowmeaway1,allI know is alvin lee is Ten Years After's guitarist&singer,Albert Lee,very talented&versatile guitarist in bands&studio work.Now I know Arthur Lee's name&almost positive he's a guitarist,but I can't bring it back right now.I'm in the middle of a major Steve Miller fit.I just saw him last night,he played about 3hrs.,is recording new material which we heard some of.It sounds more like the joker album&earlier material than later stuff,but all was good7there was lots of improv instead of cookie cutter hits.Norton Buffalo is with him & still amazing!!!You don't become John Popper without studying Norton.;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::GTRZAN ;.}

    hugely influential on Tom Waits, "The Talking Heads" etc should be represented !!!!

    Re: Concert Vault Feedback

    There are tons of folks...jazz and otherwise, Not represented. Nevertheless these guys are doing a great job / service to the preservation and dissemination of copyright available live archives. I think we could do w/ more jazz, zappa and eclectic concerts. Nina Simone? Hot Tuna? Miles? Old Detroit Soul?

    Re: Concert Vault Feedback

    saw this last week but for the FLAC DOWNLOAD people there are 3 muddy waters concerts available in FLAC, as well as some ash grove shows. just found some more. bb king,lynyrd skynyrd,quicksilver-over 2 hrs, all the tubes.these shows are most of the bill graham shows available for download. king biscuit and dawson sound catalogs so far nno FLAC but have not searched hard.
    if there are more u have to search individually/hit or miss. unless i am missing something there is no way to bring up just the FLAC shows.
    HEY VAULT any answers??

    Re: Concert Vault Feedback

    Lots of love for the site. Currently listening to the Sonny Rollins gig of 5/9/76. Always like to give props where due, and the summary write up for this show was exceptionally well written and insightful. To whom do I give the knowing nod? Could a byline be added?

    More Todd/Dizzy/Ambrosia/Miles/Buddy/Zep...
